Industry 4.0 & IOT

The solutions designed by SIAT are in line with the needs of industrial automation dictated by industry 4.0: our machines can be easily integrated into the production lines, improving the productivity and production quality of our customers' plants as well as the working conditions of the employees. The IoT technologies applied to our products allow the collection of a series of operational information on the state of the machine, useful for the customer to monitor - everywhere, via PC, tablet or smartphone - the operation of it and to keep track of any anomalies that can occur during its exercise. OptiRun is a smart service that helps you optimize productivity, quality outcomes, total cost ownership and allows you to improve your business. OptiRun is an on-line system with remote programming, dashboard control, data elaboration and historical tracking of SIAT wrapping machines. The OptiRun interface allows sharing and collaborative management of the machine’s parameters and statistical data to create new, increasingly automated and interconnected models. The user can interact with the machine in remote mode (through an Internet connection) on any device (PC, tablet, smartphone etc). OptiRun provides fast solutions to problems and – in some cases – their prevention. What can you check with OptiRun? Overview of the machine - critical information such as instantaneous work data, site traceability data, completed recipes, scheduled maintenance frequency and the amount of remaining film on the reel. Operating status – information includes power-on time, work period and related diagrams, current operating status diagrams, as well as alerts (historic alarms with descriptions and duration), statistics concerning productivity (number of working sessions, number of pallets produced and related diagrams), and consumable information (data about the film consumption and film breakage).
