BeeWrap+ SIAT: Maximum Flexibility in Pallet Wrapping
BeeWrap+ is the self-propelled pallet wrapping robot designed by SIAT to ensure maximum operational flexibility and end-of-line efficiency. Unlike turntable stretch wrappers, BeeWrap+ does not require a dedicated area: it can be easily moved wherever needed, adapting to production flows and reducing occupied space.
It is ideal for loads of any size and shape, with a processable weight starting from approximately 20–55 kg up to very heavy and bulky loads. The motorized pre-stretch system of up to 240% optimizes film consumption while ensuring stability and safety during transport.
BeeWrap+ can be configured with different film carriages: M (mechanical brake), FM (electromagnetic brake), and LP (motorized pre-stretch), to meet every application requirement. Available options include a remote control, photocell for dark pallets, and different types of wheels (standard, non-marking, and for abrasive floors).
Among the advanced safety systems, a laser scanner is available: a device that detects the presence of obstacles or operators in the working area, automatically stopping the machine and ensuring safe use even in shared environments.
Thanks to AGM technology and high operational autonomy, BeeWrap+ represents the ideal solution for companies seeking mobility, safety, and a reduction in Total Cost of Ownership.
Below are some application examples:

SIAT introduces EZ-Box Glue: Non-stop performance and premium hot melt sealing
In today’s packaging industry, automation is no longer just about speed it’s about continuity, flexibility, and control. As production volumes increase and packaging requirements become more complex, companies need solutions that can ensure consistent performance while reducing operational costs.
With this in mind, SIAT introduces the EZ-Box Glue, a high-performance automatic case erector designed to deliver maximum uptime, premium hot melt sealing, and total flexibility across box formats.

Designed for non-stop production Positioned at the beginning of the packaging line, the case erector plays a critical role: any error can impact the entire process. EZ-Box Glue has been engineered to ensure continuous operation, thanks to its motorized walk-in magazine, allowing operators to reload blanks without stopping the machine. In addition, the integrated 8-liter hot melt system—above market average— extends production autonomy, reducing the need for frequent refills and minimizing downtime.
Premium sealing, stronger boxes EZ-Box Glue integrates a Valco Melton KUBE Series hot melt system, delivering strong, tamper-evident sealing and a clean, tape-free package appearance. The system allows full control of glue application directly from the HMI, enabling operators to adjust glue quantity and patterns (up to 4 points per flap). This ensures optimized adhesive consumption, reduced waste, and consistent sealing quality—even in demanding production environments.
Flexibility without compromise One of the key differentiators of the EZ-Box platform is its ability to handle a wide range of box sizes and formats with a single machine. Moreover, with the unique Opposite Hand Box Kit, the machine can process both right- and left-handed boxes without the need to overturn them. This eliminates layout constraints, simplifies operations, and reduces the need for multiple machines.
Perfect forming for downstream efficiency The quality of case erecting directly impacts filling, sealing and palletizing processes. EZ-Box Glue ensures perfectly squared cases with precise 90° angles, thanks to advanced vacuum gripping and static squaring systems. The result is improved stability throughout the packaging process and reduced risk of product damage during transport.
Built for integration Designed for modern automated environments, EZ-Box Glue features a PLC-based architecture with advanced communication protocols, enabling seamless integration into packaging lines and smart factory systems. All machine functions, including the hot melt system, are fully managed through an intuitive 7” touchscreen HMI, simplifying operation and diagnostics.

Innovation in Manufacturing: The future is digital
Over the past few months, our company has taken a major step toward digitization, transforming a key production process that had relied on the use of paper for years. This project represented a big change, but also a wonderful opportunity to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and make our work more sustainable and cutting-edge.
Digitalization of Timesheets: A Revolution in Production
The first major step was to digitize timesheets, previously filled out by hand by each assembly operator. These paper documents were used to record activities, quantities and times, in relation to production orders. With crucial support from the IT department, this process was completely transformed through the use of terminals installed directly in production and a program developed in-place.
The new system has brought immediate and tangible benefits:
– Paper elimination: a sustainable choice that reduces resource consumption.
– Real-time data: immediately available information for more accurate analysis.
– Elimination of manual data entry: a simplification that reduces errors and speeds up workflow.
– Efficiency monitoring: the ability to compare actual times with standard times, aligning production cycles planned in SAP with operational reality.
In this way, we can more accurately calculate the cost of the assembled product and monitor efficiency indicators in real time, continuously improving our processes.

A Look to the Future: New Features Coming Soon
The digitization project does not stop here. In the coming year, the terminals will be further enhanced with new features.
These upgrades will not only further reduce the use of paper but will allow requests to be handled in real time, making work run more smoothly and technologically advanced.
A Team Success
A project of this importance would not have been possible without the contribution and collaboration of many people. The coordination of Sergio Airaghi, Lean Continuous Improvement Manager, the development work on the tool by Amedeo Fernandez, IT Department, and the operational and training support of Cristina Mazzei, Controlling Support, were fundamental to the success of the initiative. Important was the commitment of all production managers and coordinators who met the challenge with team spirit and determination.
Special thanks go to the operators, who have embraced this change with a positive attitude, quickly adapting to a new way of working.
The digitization of timesheets is just the beginning of a journey that will lead us toward increasingly modern, efficient and sustainable production. We will continue to work to provide our people with innovative and integrable tools, building a future in which technology and sustainability walk hand in hand.
Together, we are transforming the way we work.
